On February 12, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a possible sex offense upon a minor. Following an investigation of the allegations, Criminal Investigation Detectives sought charges against William Einer Hansen for felony indecent liberties with a child.
On July 31, 2024, Hansen was located, arrested, and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where he was served his warrant.. The magistrate issued a $100,000 secured bond and a court date was set for August 2, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
