On July 30, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Foxfire Rd., Asheboro, in reference to an agency assist with NC Probation and Parole. During a probation search of Jacob Lamour Waddell, illegal substances were found.
Waddell was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for charges of felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule II controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of misdemeanor possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana 0.5-1.5 ounces. He was issued a $15,000 secured bond and his first appearance was set for July 31, 2024, in Randolph County Superior Court.
He was also served with a felony probation violation and issued an additional $30,000 secured bond with a Superior Court date of August 5, 2024.
