On April 7, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Meadowlands Rd., Asheboro, for a reported vehicle fire.
Following an investigation by the Criminal Interdiction Team – Urban Unit, the detectives sought charges against Bobbie Allen Robertson for misdemeanor false police report and the magistrate issued a criminal summons. They also sought charges against Kirsten William Robertson for felony burning personal property, felony obtain property by false pretense, and felony conspiracy and the magistrate found probable cause to issue a warrant for his arrest.
On July 9, 2024, both individuals were located. Bobbie was served her criminal summons and is set to appear in Randolph County District Court on August 5, 2024. Kirsten was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where he was served his outstanding warrant. His bond was denied and a first appearance was set for July 10, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
