On June 3, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Cole Mtn. Rd., in reference to a suspicious vehicle. During the investigation, contact was made with the driver, who was identified as Christopher Dale Hogan. During a consensual search, an illegal substance was located.
Following an investigation, charges were sought against Hogan for felony possession of methamphetamine and the magistrate found probable cause to issue a warrant. On June 17, 2024, Hogan was located, arrested, and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where he was served his warrant and bond was denied. A first appearance was set for June 20, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
