Tony Levi Mitchell, a registered sex offender in Randolph County, was not located when deputies went to perform an address verification check on January 24, 2022. The deputy was advised that Mitchell had left the residence on January 11, 2022, and possibly went back to Wilson, NC. A warrant has been issued for his arrest for failure to report new address as required by law.
On June 4, 2024, Mitchell was located in Wilson County, arrested and transported to the Wilson County Detention Center where he was served his outstanding warrant. He received a $10, 000 secured bond, and a first appearance was held June 7, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
He was also served his outstanding Order for Arrest out of Harnett County for Failure to Comply with Judges Orders.
