On September 29, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a possible fraud.
Following an investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division, charges were sought against Cassandra Blair Johnson for felony identity theft and the magistrate found probable cause to issue a warrant for arrest.
On June 15, 2024, Johnson was located, arrested, and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where she was served her warrant. The magistrate issued a written promise to appear on June 24, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
