On June 8, 2024, the Randolph County Detention Center Staff located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in the possession of Rhonda Renee Routh in the booking area of the facility. Routh had been brought in on similar charges by an area agency.
Following an investigation by the Detention Center Detective, charges were sought on Routh and the magistrate found probable cause for charges of felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of a controlled substance on jail premises, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and issued a criminal summons to appear in Randolph County District Court on July 8, 2024.
