On May 7, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Clifton Dr., Archdale, in reference to the theft of vehicles.
Following an investigation by the Criminal Interdiction Team, charges were sought against William Joshua Williams for two counts felony larceny of motor vehicle and two counts felony obtain property by false pretense. The magistrate found probable cause to issue a warrant.
On May 9, 2024, Williams was located, arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where he was served his warrant. He was issued a $5,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for May 10, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
