On April 23, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Canter Rd., Archdale, in reference to a 911 hang-up call. Upon arrival, deputies observed a passenger car in the driveway and made contact with the driver, who stated that the deputy was probably called due to them shooting. Additional subjects exited the residence and insisted no one was shooting and denied there was a weapon when questioned.
