On February 21, 2024, the Door County Sheriff’s Department in Sturgeon Bay, WI, contacted the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Apprehension Team (CAT) regarding locating Joshua Kenneth Kirby, who was wanted out of the state of Wisconsin for felony non-support of a child. The Door County Sheriff’s Department had been actively searching for Kirby and believed he traveled to the Archdale area when he fled Wisconsin. Kirby had full extradition on his charges.
Following an investigation into the information, detectives with the Criminal Apprehension Team were able to locate and arrest Kirby on February 22, 2024, on Edgar Rd., Archdale.
He was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where he was charged as a Fugitive from Justice and the magistrate found probable cause for the charge. He was issued a $150,000 secured bond and an extradition hearing has been set for February 29, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
