On January 20, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to South Lake Dr., Asheboro, in reference to trespassing. Upon arrival, Brianna Janay Stultz-Newsome, who had not been permitted to be on the property, was located inside the residence. During the investigation, paraphernalia and illegal narcotics were located in her possession. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for charges of felony possession of Schedule II controlled substance, felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine, felony maintain vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia and second-degree trespassing. She was given a secure bond of $15,000 with a first appearance set for January 22, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
