On December 9, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Forest Hills Dr. for an escort. The victim advised he had left his leaf blower on his trailer at the address of Harry Lynn Chisholm and when he returned to retrieve his property, the leaf blower had been removed from the trailer.
Upon arrival at the address with the victim, they were unable to locate Chisholm but made contact by public service. Chisholm reported he was out of town and would return the blower once he returned home.
On December 11, the victim reported that Chisholm had not returned his property and the phone number for Chisholm was no longer in service.
On December 22, 2023, charges were sought against Chisholm for felony larceny and the magistrate found probable cause to issue a warrant.
On January 2, 2024, Chisholm was located, arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where he was served the warrant. He was issued a $1,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for January 3, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
