On July 3, 2033, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Misty Dr., Thomasville, in reference to a larceny that had already occurred. Upon arrival, the victim reported a handgun stolen by a known subject with a witness present. Following the investigation, charges were sought against Kelcy Davon Craft for felony larceny of a firearm and felony possession of stolen goods. The magistrate found probable cause and a warrant was issued.
On December 18, 2023, Craft was located in Forsyth County. He was arrested and transported to the Forsyth County Detention Center, where he was served the warrants. He was issued a $10,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for January 29, 2024, in Randolph County District Court. Craft posted bond and was released.
