During an unrelated investigation on December 21, 2023, by the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office and NC Probation/Parole on Old Lexington Rd., Asheboro, officers located illegal narcotics in possession of Roger Dale Hill and charges were sought against Hill. The magistrate found probable cause and issued a warrant for felony possession of methamphetamine.
On December 26, 2023, Hill was located, arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where he was served his warrant. He was issued a written promise to appear on January 8, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
