On October 2, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Randleman Rd., Randleman, in reference to a larceny in progress. Upon arrival, deputies located the suspects on scene. Tony Wayne Wall was located inside of the Dollar General and Tammy Lynn Swaim was loading items into the vehicle that were allegedly purchased. During a subsequent search, marijuana and paraphernalia were located Swaim’s possession.
While observing store surveillance, Wall could be seen placing items into his pockets and going in and out of the store. During a subsequent search of Wall, heroin and paraphernalia were located.
Swaim was charged on citation for misdemeanor possession of marijuana, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and aid and abet misdemeanor larceny.
Wall was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of heroin, misdemeanor larceny, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor possession of stolen goods. He was issued a $5,000 dollar secured bond and a first appearance was set for October 3rd, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
