On September 30, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Team conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 73/74 in Randleman. During a subsequent search, deputies located approximately 8 ½ pounds of Heroin in the vehicle. Lori Kristen Price of Roanoke, VA, was arrested and transported to Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for the charges of two counts of Trafficking in Heroin. She received a $1,000,000 secured bond with a first appearance set for October 2, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
