On March 4, 2026, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office VNET conducted a traffic stop near W. Academy St. & I-73 in Randleman. During the traffic stop, a K-9 alerted to the presence of narcotics, and a probable cause search was conducted. Detectives located and seized a trafficking amount of methamphetamine and US Currency. As a result of the traffic stop, the Vice Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at a residence located on New Hope Church Rd., Asheboro. During the search, methamphetamine and paraphernalia were located.
As a result, Antwain Darel Soriano was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate found probable cause for the charge of felony trafficking in methamphetamine. He received a $100,000 secured bond, and a first appearance was set for March 6, 2026, in Randolph County District Court.
