On August 22, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Soapstone Mtn. Rd., Staley, in reference to larceny/theft.
Following an investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division, the stolen property was located and recovered in the Siler City, NC, area, and charges were sought against Troy Dale Bullins for felony larceny, felony possession of stolen goods/property, and felony obtain property by false pretense. The magistrate found probable cause to issue a warrant for arrest.
On October 1, 2025, the Criminal Apprehension Team located, arrested, and transported Bullins to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate issued no bond and a first appearance was set for October 3, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
