On February 21, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Electronic House Arrest (EHA) Officers searched the residence of Jacob Lamour Waddell as part of his conditions of EHA. As a result of that search, he was found to be in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. Waddell was placed under arrest and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where he was charged with EHA Violation and the magistrate found probable cause for misdemeanor possession of marijuana and three counts of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. He was issued a $26,000 total secure bond with a first appearance set for February 22, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
Waddell was placed on EHA on January 13, 2023, as a result of charges for carrying a concealed gun, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and Driving While License Revoked.
