In January 2026, members of the Invictus Task Force initiated an investigation into an act of solicitation by computer. During the course of the investigation, Brandon Scott Koffler was identified as a suspect.
On March 27, 2026, the Invictus Task Force with the assistance of Iredell County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant; as a result, Brandon Scott Koffler was subsequently taken into custody and charged with eight (8) counts of Felony Third- Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor and one (1) count of Felony Solicitation of a Child by Computer. Koffler was transported to the Forsyth County Detention Center, where the magistrate issued no bond and set a first appearance in Forsyth County District Court for March 30, 2026. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Invictus Task Force representatives.
