For years the town of Ramseur in Randolph County has continually had issues with a contaminated water supply that is provided to town residents for an over priced fee. The community is forced to continue to buy bottled water to drink and cook with though we are paying a premium price for water we flush and bathe with. The town hall employees more than 4 women currently to process billing and payments though bills are not sent out on time and payments are not processed timely either causing residents to pay fees that are often higher than the outrageous bills. When confronted about these issues the answers/excuses are always they are working on the water quality (for years) and that the water department is not responsible for delays in mailing (Holidays such as Martin Luther King day slowed the mail enough to cause an almost 2 week delay in receiving payment). The mayor is not helpful either nor past mayors.
Solution; Fire and restructure entire Ramseur Town Hall and clean water towers
