Community members of Randolph County and surrounding areas have the option to rent the no-till drill from the Randolph County Soil and Water Conservation district.
The no-till drill is a conservation method that is used to reduce soil erosion on our valuable land. It can be used to overseed current pasture, cropland, wildlife areas or hayfields. It can not be used on newly cleared ground.
If you are interested in renting the no-till drill, please contact the Soil and Water office at 336-318-6490 to schedule a pick-up and return time. You must pay a $100.00 deposit at pickup (will be applied to your total cost when drill is returned). Cost is $12 per acre with a minimum rental fee of $100. Renter will also sign a rental agreement at pickup.
Out of county rental rates are $150.00 deposit and $13.00 per acre with minimum rental fee of $150.00.
